133 Main St. E.
This building was built in 1889 by George Lavyer using a type of brick called “pug brick.” It was first used as a store, but in 1895, Mr. Cockburn bought it and built a creamery next to it, where milk and cream were processed. The original building was torn down in the 1950s and replaced with a new building made of cement blocks. The new building was used as a grocery store.
