On Wednesday, September 23, the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area will be hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM) followed by a public meeting with municipal candidates running for Mayor of Milton, Regional Councillor for Ward 1, and Town Councillor for Ward 1.
Agenda:
6:00 p.m. – Registration & Networking. Light refreshments will be available.
6:30 p.m. – Annual General Meeting.
→ Connect with BIA members, hear highlights from 2026, and find out what’s in store for 2027.
7:00 p.m. – Public meeting with municipal candidates.
→ Meet candidates for the upcoming municipal election and hear their perspective on issues concerning Downtown Milton. All candidates running for Mayor of Milton, Regional Councillor for Ward 1, and Town Councillor for Ward 1 will be invited to participate.*
8:00 p.m. – Event concludes.
*Rather than a traditional moderated question-and-answer period or debate, candidates will each have a brief opportunity to introduce themselves and speak directly to attendees.
There will also be time before and after the meeting to network and speak with candidates one-on-one.
