The Milton Historical Society hosts it’s monthly meeting series on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm, at 16 James Street in their Carriage Room in the Waldie Blacksmith Shop. Guest are always most welcome!
Guest Speaker Adam McDowell from Conservation Halton will share the history and archaeology of our local Crawford Conservation Area. The lake was named after the Crawford family who donated the land. It is a part of the Niagara escarpment world biosphere reserve and contains a reconstructed Iroquoian village and hiking trails.
