Fun in the Sun Scavenger Hunt

Ready to have some outdoor adventures while safely exploring Downtown Milton? Kids, teens, families and players of all ages are invited to join the Fun in the Sun Scavenger Hunt in Downtown Milton! Hosted by the Downtown Milton BIA with participation from local businesses, the hunt is happening June 25-July 4, 2021 and is free to play.

Using the GooseChase app, teams will earn points by completing exciting missions at home and in the downtown community. They will answer questions, take photos and share videos to accomplish missions related to Downtown Milton landmarks, local businesses, Canada Day, summer activities, Milton trivia and lots more.

Participating teams have a chance to win gift baskets and gift cards from their favourite Downtown Milton businesses. Through the scavenger hunt, we are raising funds and awareness for the Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC).

Allegra Organic Spa & Boutique’s mission is to provide a holistic spa experience to enrich the world’s wellness. They provide spa services, wellness services and a clinic and specialize in organic products in their spa, sourceing the majority of their products from Canada. MCRC, a safe, caring community where children and families are valued, grow and succeed.

MCRC is a Not–for-profit, multi-service organization that provides services to children and families of Milton and the surrounding communities. Through their EarlyON Child and Family Centres, they provide free early learning programs for children, and parenting resources for families and caregivers. Through their Licensed Child Care programs, MCRC provides quality early learning and care at an affordable cost including full-time childcare, before and after school care, Nursery school, and home childcare. Their Artists and Children Together (ACT) Initiative supports positive engagement with the community, children, and youth around expression through the arts.   In addition, MCRC provides Empowerment Programs, which are free, accessible programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of girls and women in our community. These include an Infant Food Bank, Period Poverty Initiative, and the She Can! girls programs.
