Part of the Halton Healthcare network, the North Halton Mental Health Clinic provides a wide range of services. Their staff include psychiatrists, nurses, clinical social workers, community support workers, family specialists, peer support and occupational therapists. They offer community-based psychiatric assessment, treatment, counselling and case management for clients and their family members. They help with understanding and managing medication. Provide concurrent disorder treatment/groups (Health and Hope partner). Offer linkages to other health services and community supports. Provide clinical support for people living with a mental illness who are at risk for homelessness. Provide clinical assessment and treatment for people experiencing, or at risk for experiencing, a first episode psychosis. They offer psychiatric consultation services to family doctors for children and youth.
