DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make this quick and easy french seam tote bag with one of our experienced and well versed instructors at Oh Look\, Fabric! Don’t know what french seams are? You will after this workshop hehe p.s. they are awesome and easier than you think! \nA sewing machine will be provided to you for this workshop. \nDate: Thursday\, April 2\, 2026 \nTime: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to get settled in) \nWorkshop Fee: $80.00/pp + HST (paid at the time of booking) \nDuration of Workshop: Approximately 3 hours \nMinimum Participants: 2 \nMaximum Participants: 4 \nAge Requirement: 16+ \nSkill Level: Must have taken our Level 1 – Learn to Sew Workshop or must know how to operate\, have basic sewing knowledge and be able to trouble shoot a sewing machine with minimal assistance. \nWhat to bring: \n-We will provide you with a sewing machine and the use of all other necessary tools you will need for this workshop. \nPre-Workshop: \n-Fabric and thread is a separate cost. \n-We will email you 1 week prior to your workshop start date and provide you with details and a list of supplies you need to purchase prior to your workshop date and time. \n-Come into the store 1-2 days minimum in advance of your scheduled workshop to pick out your fabric/thread. \n-Please do not arrive unprepared as it will negatively impact your allotted workshop time. \nYou will receive a 10% discount on fabrics and tools when purchasing in-store (applies to regularly priced items only\, cannot be combined with any other promotion or sale)\, for the purpose of this workshop only. If you are an existing Sewing Club Member\, the additional 10% discount will not apply. \nPlease Note: \n-Restroom is not wheelchair/walker accessible. \n-When you register for a workshop…. consider your payment as confirmation. Also\, unless we contact you either by phone or email\, workshops will run as scheduled \nWorkshop Policies: \n-In order to ensure that each student receives enough attention to learn and complete a project in the allotted time frame\, our workshops are limited in the number of participants\, based on the workshop being taught unless otherwise stated. Materials and supplies are not included in the workshop fee unless otherwise noted. \n-Safety is our first concern at Oh Look\, Fabric! Should a participant not adhere to the instructor’s instructions and/or be a disruption for other participants\, the participant may be removed from the workshop and the workshop fee will be forfeited. \n-No spectators allowed. \nPayment and Cancellation Policies: \n-Spaces in our workshops are limited\, therefore to reserve a seat in any of our workshops\, payment in full must be received at the time of registration. You may register for a workshop in person or on our website at www.ohlookfabric.com. \n-If the minimum amount of participants is not met\, the workshop will be cancelled and the workshop fee will be refunded in full. \n-All workshops start on time\, our front door opens 10 minutes prior to your workshop start time\, if you arrive late (more than 15 minutes late)\, you will not be permitted to participate and your workshop fee will be forfeited entirely. \n-Oh Look\, Fabric! is not responsible for workshops missed due to lateness\, sickness\, car trouble\, weather\, scheduling issues\, etc. \n-All workshops are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
