Since 1981, Mayor Krantz has continued the tradition that originated in 1967 of ringing in the New Year. Residents and visitors are invited to join Mayor Krantz in Victoria Park on Monday, December 31 at 11:45 p.m., in front of Hugh Foster Hall (141 King Street) for a bell ringing and festive gathering to celebrate 2019. The honorary bell ringer for 2019 is Cindy Lunau, who was a valued Councillor for the last 20 years.
