Since 1981, Mayor Krantz has continued the tradition that originated in 1967 of ringing in the New Year. Residents and visitors are invited to join Mayor Krantz in Victoria Park on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at 11:45 p.m, in front of Hugh Foster Hall (141 King Street) for a bell ringing and festive gathering to celebrate the start of 2020. The honorary 2020 bell ringer is Margaret Saliba, a valued community volunteer.
