Wire wrapping is a great way to create a beautiful piece of jewellery with your favourite crystal or gemstone. But many people don’t know where to start… What wire is the best to use? What tools do you need? How do you do some basic wrapping techniques?
In this workshop Susan will introduce you to the wonderful world of wire wrapping. She will explain what types of wires are out there from, the different gauges, hardness, colours, and metals. Then you will be introduced to the basic tools needed to get your wire wrapping project started. Finally you will learn some basic wire wrapping techniques which you will apply in the class to make your own crystal pendant. This is a great class for beginners, from those who have never wire wrapped anything, to those who have experimented and want to learn more.
All wire and tools are provided in class along with a crystal to wrap.
