The Milton Historical Society hosts their monthly meeting series on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Meetings take place at 7:30 pm at 16 James Street in the Carriage Room in Waldie’s Blacksmith Shop. Guest are always most welcome!
This month, guest speaker, Ray Peacock, will be talking about the journeys of the polar explorers: Shackleton, Scott, Amundsen and Franklin. The endurance of all these men provides the background for Ray’s presentation on the first successful crossing of the Arctic through the North West Passage.
