The Milton Historical Society will re-open the Waldie Blacksmith Shop area for live blacksmith demonstrations on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon, beginning on July 24 and continuing until Aug. 28. Other Society areas and programs will be phased in as safely as possible, beginning after Labour Day. We will be holding our Historic Walking Tours in Sept. so please check out on our Web Site and register.
In keeping with Government of Ontario and Halton Public Health safety protocols, what follows are the Society’s requirements for attending MHS activities:
As a museum, the Waldie Blacksmith Shop will follow all social distance protocols.
- All guests must maintain a two-metre distance from one another;
- All guests must wear a clean face mask at all times;
- All guests must clean their hands with sanitizer provided by Milton Historical Society upon entering the Shop. Bottles of sanitizer are located at all entrances to the building.
