Men & Boys: Walk to end violence against women!
For the last ten years boys and men across Halton have strapped on heels for a short walk that demonstrates a BIG statement – WE ARE PART OF THE SOLUTION!
Halton Women’s Place is pleased to announce that it will be holding its 4th Hope in High Heels – MILTON, this Fall, set for Saturday September 14, 2019.
Hope in High Heels will start at 12:30 p.m. at Troy’s Diner (295 Main St E), where local dignitaries will greet the community. After participants walk, Troy’s Diner will serve a light lunch for all participants. Family and friends supporting walkers can purchase lunch for a minimal cost.
Proceeds from Hope in High Heels go directly to Halton Women’s Place, which provides a safe haven, information and education to support a future without abuse for women and their children.
Registration Fee is $30 per person (non-tax receiptable) and includes the rally, welcome kit, and lunch. Tax receipts will be issued for all pledges over $20.
