Historic Lumber – Refinishing Methods with MHS

The Milton Historic Society invites you to participate in their Heritage Education Programs. This session is a part of a 5 part Heritage Educational Series. The series is for individuals who wish to explore a variety of historic topics of a general interest nature.

Guest Speakers: The Bousfield Family of Historic Lumber, a family owned business for over 40 yrs. They salvage and reclaim Canadian Lumber from early circa 1800 homes and barns. The lumber is stored and awaiting its second life whether in a historic application or decorative feature in a home. Come discover the value and learn traditional woodworking and finishing methods.
