Friday, December 3rd, 2021, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to get settled in). Workshop Fee is $40.00/pp + HST and is approx. 2 hours.
Skill Requirement:
- Basic knowledge of machine sewing/troubleshooting required
Pre-Workshop:
- You will receive a 5% discount on fabric purchases in-store for the purpose of this workshop only.
Fabric Requirements:
- 1/2 yard 100% cotton or a cotton/linen blend (available for purchase in-store/online)
- 1/2 yard coordinated 100% cotton or cotton/linen blend (available for purchase in-store/online)
- Polyester stuffing is included in this workshop
What you will learn:
- You will create a super cute 3D Braided Wreath in the fabrics of your choice, hang it on your front door or spruce up a wall in your living room for a bit of holiday cheer.
What to bring:
- Sewing machine in good working order (and manual if you have one)
- All purpose sewing foot or a 1/4″ piecing foot (if you have one)
- Basic sewing kit (seam ripper, thread snips, fabric scissors, pins, clips, pencil or marker)
- Neutral coloured thread for piecing and matching thread for top stitching
- Rotary cutter
- 24″ x 6″ ruler
- School ruler
- Hand sewing needle
Proof of double vaccine passport / QR code and a government issued ID is required.
