With beautiful new light displays along Main Street East and lots of exciting activities, now is the perfect time to come Downtown Milton to shop, dine, play and explore at local businesses. Here are some exciting things to check out downtown as winter arrives.

New Seasonal Light Displays

  • Beautiful new Snow Spark light displays are now in place along Main Street East in Milton’s historic downtown. Shoppers, diners and visitors can enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere downtown no matter the temperature outside!

Downtown Milton HolidayFest (Saturday, December 3, 12:00-6:00 p.m.)

  • This free, outdoor event features local vendors and businesses, live music, visits with Santa, a charity ball hockey tournament and lots more. The event is hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) and is helping to support the Townsend Smith Foundation. Find out more.

Miracle on Main Street (Friday, December 9, 6:00-10:00 p.m.)

  • This event includes amusement rides, a free petting zoo and pony rides, stage performances and lots more. Admission is free with a donation of a new unwrapped toy! Miracle on Main is hosted by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation and the Halton Regional Police Service at Troy’s Diner. Visit the DMBIA booth for holiday games and give-aways. Find out more.

The Winter Twinkle Express (Saturday, December 10, 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 3:00-7:00 p.m.)

  • Enjoy free train rides, live music and fun family activities in the parking lot at Brown St. and Main St. E. Plus, see vehicles from the Milton Jeep Club decorated for the holidays. The train rides are free and we’ll be collecting cash donations to support the Women’s Centre of Halton and Miracle on Main Street. Find out more for December 10 and December 16.

  • There are over 200 businesses in Downtown Milton ready to serve you this holiday season.
